Surface Treatment

Blued and waxed

Increased protection against rust by a thin layer of blue oxide and hot wax.

This results in optimum tensioning properties in strapping tools and strapping systems.
 

Electrophoretically painted

Electrophoretic painting (galvanic painting) provides for an even paint cover, it adheres well and is elastic.

Induction drying ensures that the paint dries from the inside without blisters.

This means:

• High protection against corrosion, particularly on the edges
• Little abrasion for the safe operation of tools and machines
 

Surfaces TITAN Automatenband and TITAN MEGABAND^®

TITAN Automatenband and TITAN MEGABAND^® are available with blued and waxed, black-, zinc-colour paint and waxed surfaces; for highest demands on protection against corrosion.
 

Titan Automatenband

Specially high quality strap for the use with semi- and fully automatic strapping systems, produced with very close tolerances.

 

Titan MEGABAND^®

High tensile strap with high elongation and shock resistance for strapping tools and strapping systems.

 

Titan MEGABAND-Spezial^®

The manufacturing process of TITAN MEGABAND-Special^® is subject to a constant quality control from melting to ready strap. That is what counts on lifting and lashing; constant quality standard and controlled safety. On this basis we are able to guarantee required breaking load and elongation figures. The MEGABAND-Special^® is marked
with the quality symbol
